Educational Information Management System (EdDat)
EdDat
is a popular system, which was developed at a time when Windows applications
rarely existed in the country.
EdDat
is used by all regional education offices of the country as well as the
Ministry of Education. It is used to enter education data of all schools in the
country. It also produces a number of statistical reports which serve as the
major input of the annual booklet which is published at the Ministry of
Education and the respective Regional Educational Bureaus.
The
introduction of the first version of EdDat has enabled Regional States of the
country to produce their own Educational Statistical booklets on yearly basis.
The
system has been in use since 1996.
