Integrated Transport Management System (ITMS)
ITMS is a system that consists of over ten subsystems that were developed to
automate the day-to-day activities of the Addis Ababa Transport Authority. The
major automated activities include:

Traffic Penalty Management

New Driver Registration
·
Driving License Renewal
·
Vehicle Inspection
·
Vehicle Ownership Transfer
·
Plate Issuance
·
Vehicle Value Estimation
·
Revenue Collection
The
system automates the Service Delivery starting from Registration, Payment Order
Preparation, Payment Collection, Financial Reconciliation and Posting to
Accounting System.
In
addition to the core systems, the project also includes the implementation of
Administrative support systems such as:

Accounting and Payroll Systems
·
Human Resource Management System
·
Archives and records Management System
·
Property Management System
·
Library System
The
system runs on a Windows 2003 based network, which has four high-end servers,
and over 100 workstations. The structured cabling, including Fiber Optic cable
installation, and OS installation and configuration activities were
successfully undertaken by CUSTOR.
